The writers of Paros hosted an entertaining evening of discussion during which I talked about my approach to writing, the mystery genre, the creation of characters and the process of editing.

As the sun set on the horizon and the meeting was suffused in amber light, writers who love Greece shared their passion for creating fiction.

A very successful event, the evening was attended by an international audience  who, after my talk, asked questions about the creation of The Naxos Mysteries and A Greek Feast on Naxos  before we all enjoyed a wine and cheese reception.

 

Paros Art Gallery, where the event took place, is part of Parea Cuisine, a wonderful restaurant on Paros. Owner Iro Fokianou, herself a poet, hosted the evening, which was generously supported by Mrs Jean Polyzoides.
